ELMICATEX
Under the registered trademark ELMICATEX®, COGEBI manufactures a range of tapes based on mica paper reinforced by glass cloth. These tapes have great flexibility and high tensile strength.
ELMICATEX® tapes can be applied on conductors using all standard vertical or longitudinal taping equipment in one or more layers, usually with a 20-50% overlap.
COGEBI ASIA offers a wide range of pads and traverse wound spools compatible with all commercially available taping machines.
- ELMICATEX® P - Glass backed cable tape which consists of the most heat resistant phlogopite mica paper bonded to an electrical grade glass cloth as a supporting fabric and impregnated with a high temperature resistant silicone resin.
- ELMICATEX® M - A flexible mica glass backed cable tape made of calcined muscovite mica paper bonded to an electrical grade glass cloth as a supporting fabric and impregnated with a high temperature resistant silicone resin.
